I found a big chunk of obsidian like that in the '80s working out by John Day, Oregon. It was on one of the old logging railroad beds. I was looking for a chunk of wood to help me get my broken down Volvo up on a car dolly.

When I open my greasy spoon there will be a daily kitchen sink leftover anytime food bowl. Today’s feature is sticky rice pan fried in ham drippings, seasoned with freshly cracked pepper and stinky Himalayan black salt, spam, scrambled egg, mild cheddar, scallions, and homemade Mexican devil sauce. Two eggs next time, cooked to customer order.

Back from the chiropractor. Y strap didn’t quite live up to what I expected. Probably due to the other manipulation that the chiropractor did that relived pressure from the neck down to the middle of my back. Back feels so much better.

They have funky spams in Hawaii. Musubi is their version of gas station sushi. Made it a couple times. Pretty good stuff.

I remember making some for a neighbor kid once who never had it. The look on his face was priceless. He said, and I quote, this is good meat.
