It's the little things

For the last 2 years or so to go north on Alcoa Highway I have had to drive 1.5 miles south from my house, exit at Maloney, and drive 1.5 miles back north. That's 3+ extra miles of driving in construction every morning.

Well this morning the off ramp to Montlake was open for the first time! I had to stop and take a picture of it!

I started driving up to the Knoxville Corvette Expo at the fairgrounds 30 yrs. or so ago. They were working on the roads then! Road construction just never ends there it seems.
