Afternoon everyone. Pool time again. things are set up for the car show tomm. W have done awesome silent auction items. I CANT WAIT!!

Those lights are sweet! I have done from JW on my wish list. Someday....

Well that was interesting!
I got the 62 out after having the battery tested this morning, got about a mile down the road, turning left on a busy intersection, and idiot me, stalled it! No biggie but the solenoid decided to give up the ghost then and there!

.....Beautiful sunny day, hood open, tons of gawkers but no helpers. After a while of feeling real stupid, a girl stops to help...yup I still got it

, hahaha! But she couldn't push it to start it, so I thanked her and she left.

After another while of hotrods, antiques, and sportscars going right by, a pick up driver stops, and then another, and with a little push start, away I went.

God bless truck drivers! (turned out I know one of them from about 15 years ago....small world!)

It's up on ramps now cooling down, and guess what, the new solenoid was in the trunk. I'd been procrastinating about putting it in.........

Yeah that's an odd feeling isn't it.
It's amazing that the hot rodders didn't stop and help you. Must of been young punks.

Glad you got it back home and didn't have to call a flatbed.

I know. And so close to home, I didn't bother bringing my cell phone, and it would really PMO to waste 125$ for a flattie.

i have learned that plug and play never means 5 minutes like they say it does :teotap: ive learned to adjust the time that the directions say it will take to "Kim Time".

crap, no well pressure.....have a holding tank and pressure pump in the main house, but the guesthouse is SOL presently.....hope the well is not failing...$$$$

Up the ramps, drop the starter, bench change solenoid, install, start 'er up! About an hour after cool down. Yup, still got it....
