I don't know what these architects are thinking anymore. The rest of the house looks like a shoebox with a shed roof on top. Butt ugly.

Crap shot gun homes like this are going up along the gulf coast in the city of Gulfport. Dont see how they are going to survive even a Cat 3 hurricane...

This one is in a 140 mile wind zone, exposure C, on a ridge so some pretty big uplift forces.

I tell these contractors all the time, when you build an open roof, you've built a wing. A deck is similar. In this case, he has five wings.
