Mueller was accepted for officer training in the United States Marine Corps in 1968, attending training at Parris Island, Officer Candidate School, Army Ranger School, and Army jump school. Of these, he said later that he considered Ranger School the most valuable because he felt "more than anything teaches you about how you react with no sleep and nothing to eat."[24][25]

In July 1968, he was sent to South Vietnam, where he served as a rifle platoon leader as a second lieutenant with Second Platoon, H Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division.[12][26] On December 11, 1968, during an engagement in Operation Scotland II, he earned the Bronze Star with "V" device for combat valor for rescuing a wounded Marine under enemy fire during an ambush in which he saw half of his platoon become casualties.[27][28] In April 1969, he received an enemy gunshot wound in the thigh, recovered, and returned to lead his platoon until June 1969.[29] For his service in and during the Vietnam War, his military decorations and awards include: the Bronze Star Medal with Combat "V", Purple Heart Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals with Combat "V", Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with four service stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Parachutist Badge.[12][29][25][30]

In 2009, he told a writer that despite his other accomplishments he was still "most proud the Marine Corps deemed me worthy of leading other Marines."[25]

Once cool now has to play a bumbling idiot to escape the situation that didn't work out like the playbook said. The playbook said Trump would can his ass and then the Dims could impeach for obstruction. Trump didn't can so the Dims didn't have Plan B worked out so well either.

Here's one of the American heros Mueller screwed over.

Quote:
Flynn was commissioned in the U.S. Army as a second lieutenant in military intelligence in 1981.[7] His military assignments included multiple tours at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, with the 82nd Airborne Division, XVIII Airborne Corps, and Joint Special Operations Command, where he deployed for the invasion of Grenada and Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti.[26] He also served with the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, Louisiana, and the Army Intelligence Center at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.[7]

Flynn served as the assistant chief of staff, G2, XVIII Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, from June 2001 and the director of intelligence at the Joint Task Force 180 in Afghanistan until July 2002. He commanded the 111th Military Intelligence Brigade from June 2002 to June 2004[7] and was the director of intelligence for Joint Special Operations Command from July 2004 to June 2007, with service in Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom) and the Iraq War (Operation Iraqi Freedom). He served as the director of intelligence of the United States Central Command from June 2007 to July 2008, as the director of intelligence of the Joint Staff from July 2008 to June 2009, then the director of intelligence of the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan from June 2009 to October 2010.[7][27]
Mueller did a good thing with his military service, but let's not pretend like he didn't do a lot of evil, too. Do we still lionize Tim McVeigh, for example?

I not only salute Robert Mueller's military service but all his service to this country and have the highest respect for the man.

His Political party: "Republican" like Trump
Spouse(s) Ann Cabell Standish (m. 1966)

President George W. Bush nominated Mueller for the position of FBI director on July 5, 2001. The Senate unanimously confirmed Mueller as FBI director on August 2, 2001, voting 98–0 in favor of his appointment.

In May 2011, President Barack Obama asked Mueller to continue at the helm of the FBI for two additional years beyond his normal 10-year term, which would have expired on September 4, 2011.[53] The Senate approved this request 100–0 on July 27, 2011.

As for Ret. Lt. General Michael Flynn, Obama warned Trump on two things. His biggest problem will be North Korea and Michael Flynn, who will give Trump nothing but problems.

Michael Thomas Flynn (born December 24, 1958) is a retired United States Army Lieutenant General and convicted felon[1] and was, briefly, National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump.

Flynn is a registered "Democrat" like Hillary.

On April 27, 2017, the Pentagon inspector general announced an investigation into whether Flynn had accepted money from foreign governments without the required approval.[16] The New York Times reported on May 18, 2018, that a longtime FBI/CIA informant had met Flynn at an intelligence seminar in Britain six months earlier and became alarmed by Flynn's closeness to a Russian woman there; this concern prompted another individual to alert American authorities that Flynn may have been compromised by Russian intelligence.[17] Flynn initially refused to hand over subpoenaed documents to the Senate Intelligence Committee, pleading the Fifth Amendment against self-incrimination, but a compromise with the committee was worked out.[18][19] On December 1, 2017, Flynn appeared in federal court to formalize a deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller to plead guilty to a felony count of "willfully and knowingly" making "false, fictitious and fraudulent statements" to the FBI.[20] He confirmed his intention to cooperate with the Special Counsel's investigation.

I put Mueller in the same camp as McCain. God bless them for their military sacrifice, and damn them for forgetting who they were sacrificing for.

Out of 17 members of his staff Mueller’s team does have 13 registered Democrats and no registered Republicans, and several team members made donations to Clinton’s campaign in various amounts.

However, Trump leaves out a crucial registered Republican — Mueller himself.

The article notes that a few of the register Democrats live were Democrats are the dominant party, meaning that many races are effectively decided in Democratic primaries rather than in the general election.

NOTE: as for last paragraph I consider myself an Independent and was for decades. I vote for the person not the party. Living in a Democratic district where basically the primaries elect the person, I broke down and registered as a "Democrat" to be able to have a say in who will represent me.

So, Mueller and his Dim folks are just misunderstood. They are a group of investigators that are heavily Clinton supporters and donors while applying the laws equally to all being investigated.

Since it's evident that Mueller didn't actually write the report or do much if any of the 'investigation,' we can now consider this the Weissmann report.

Yes, THAT Weissmann, the one who was an honored guest at Hillary's 'victory' party. Nope, no possible conflict there.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...n-night-party/

And the weasel looking guy Mueller insisted on bringing with him? Yup, that turned out to be the guy who represented the Platte River guy who set up Hillary's private server. Yes, that server, the one where she only used it for wedding plans.....and some classified documents, too. I mean, out of all the people that could have been picked to investigate Trump, these guys just happen to be tapped. What are the odds? Small world, huh?

Mueller was either faking senility, or he was just a figurehead. Did you ever see the Star Trek episode where the Federation commander was a drugged figurehead who was the puppet face of a Nazi recreated society?

he likes to hide behind his military service.

but answering questions on what he did? nah.

and now it looks like they tried to set up Papadapoulous (sp?) with a wad of marked cash in Greece. but he left the cash there in the hands of a trusted lawyer, so the bills can now be examined.
