They did have a hail storm (9 inches supposedly). Don't care enough to be click-baited. The only other image I saw had ice piled up to the roof tops like they were all buried alive

Hail would imply warm(er) weather at ground level and that quantity of ice on the ground would take a while to melt, even in 80 degree weather
