Not crazy about the color but yes I would.
I had a 1980 in Midnight Blue with white interior back in the 90's. It was an absolute dog performance wise but still a great looking car. Had to sell it when I went back to school. at the ripe old age of 27. |

I had one just like that about 10 years ago. It was one of the rare manual transmission cars. The engine had the smog removed, headers and a lumpy cam. It actually ran pretty well. I regret getting rid of it now.

There’s a red one running around here. Very clean very nice. Still like the yellow better.

Had a 81 for one driving season!

You wont go any place fast. I had a 81 in the late 1980s (got it at a good price) Had for that year a rare 4SPD and the combo radio & CB. Could not wait to get rid of it! |

My first Vette was an "81, red/black, auto. Just clicked 100k in 2002. Paid $4k for it. Kept it a month.
My brother had an '79 a few years ago. He installed an Edelbrock cam/carb/ intake package, ACCEL Super Coil and distributor, polished stainless headers. I outran him in my stock '97 Eldorado. |

I wouldn't mine finding a 80-82 C3 with no motor or blown motor but otherwise in good shape and put a LS7 in it with good manual trans.

The problems finding one in good shape. Seems like only the low milers are in good shape, and modding them just devalues them. The ones without a motor are usually so bad that even for free they're too expensive.

Not a bad price for a CE. Surprised they got 122k miles out of the ceasefire injection... Wonder if it was swapped out.
