Let me take a stab at it.

Background:

Marxists, racists, malcontents and ne'er-do-wells have been burning, looting and vandalizing cities all over the country, including attacking our country's shared history, like statues, war memorials, and the historic St. John's Church, which a mob had tried to burn down the night before. The incident:

Jeff has, in the past few years, bought into the leftist/Marxist indoctrination that the USA is evil, that we are not exceptional, that our history is tainted, that white people are bad and are responsible for all the world's problems, and that the only solution to this perceived sin of the US and whites in particular is to turn his back on his own country, on his own Americans, his own fellow whites, and enthusiastically support the destruction of everything American....our shared history, our culture, our churches, statuary, and anything else objectionable to the Marxists who are participating in our cultural revolution. The mob wants St. John's Church burned. Jeff supports that, because he supports the mob, and sacrifices must be made. The church needs to be destroyed. Trump preventing the church from burning is reactionary and bad, reinforcing systemic racism, the evils of America, the evils of capitalism, the evils of whites, and every other thing the outrage mob had decided is bad. Trump applied force to remove the protestors, which outraged the mob and Jeff. How dare Trump not allow them to finish the job! They weren't burning it at the exact moment Trump cleared out the rioters! ****in' Orange Man bad!




Analysis: The only thing that might change Jeff's world view is if and when he or his family are personally impacted by the Marxist agitators. When he or his family are attacked by an emboldened mob or individual, or are caught in a "struggle session," where they are physically detained and verbally berated and attacked for the sin of being white, as we have seen in video after video, that might break the conditioning for him to revert back to the old Jeff we all enjoyed here.

There will need to be some kind of wake up call for Jeff to decide that the current mob violence, destruction, and anti-white hate isn't good for America, for us, for him, or for any American that wishes to prosper in a peaceful, verdant America, including Americans of every race.

There will need to be a personal incident where Jeff or his loved ones is/are attacked, and they say, "But we're on your side" to the attackers, and the attack continues anyway.

If your perception is reality to you and that perception doesn't align with the facts of the world that surrounds you, you are by definition delusional.

Let"s assume the bolded statement is correct. If it is there is no reason for anyone to attempt any meaningful change in any category. There are those that see racism, bigotry, hate, etc, in everything and always will. If that is their perception there is nothing anybody can do about it. That person or group will see what they want and no action on anyone elses part would affect their view or " perception".

If perception is reality then the world is doomed because facts will be irrelevant.
