All of that, and the WNY area, to include Buffalo, is having it's hottest August ever with an average temperature of 76.6 degrees so far.

Damn ! I sure am glad I didn't move down there...

The weather here has been VERY preDICKable for the last two summers.....

100f and 111% every damn stupid DAY........

and the car after all that work, still runs HOT....pulling the stat tmrw......if not that, then then attack the rear intake gaskets....long story on that one.....

The 'wet bulb' stat says up to 240f.....when in the garage the IR shooter says 220f......and I check around everywhere else and the IR seems reasonable....

I forgot to remember the intake gasket holes in the rear.....the L98 call out seems to be just two little basically pin holes in the rear on each side....

so I left it alone.....I just don't remember if the rear of the intake gaskets was wide open....DAMNIT.....but the rear intake has hoses with about 3/8 passages to the front/ water pump intake like L98 .....GRRRRRR......

Atlantic hurricanes are starting to possibly heat up again after an over 10 year hiatus. What caused the hiatus? Global warming. What will be the reason for the renewed hurricane onslaught? And, finally, here in Joplin we've had a very mild summer. Today, in August, a high of 85, currently 74 and beautiful. August is usually quite hot here, 90+ not unusual. But unfortunately Global warming has caused it to be nice this year, which would really suck if say, uh, Canada got that treatment at some point.
