Yep; Mrs Flex has been working from home to some degree for years and for the last couple pretty much exclusively, and she's more disciplined and work more hours than most office people.

Always hustling me out of the gym every morning (pre-covid) so she could get home and get to work. God forbid I do one more set or whatever.

Some mornings she'd even skip the gym and I'd leave the house at 6am and she'd go to her office and I'd come home at 6pm and she would still be working.

If I'm not physically in the office I am a complete slacker. LOL. I'll be out in the garage lifting weights or cruising the internet waiting for e-mails to come in.

It's all about time management and setting boundaries.

I roll out of bed around 7:15, go downstairs, make my coffee, clean out the cat litterbox. Come back upstairs, boot up the computer, fart around on VB for a few minutes, and then log on to my work shit by 8:00. When 5:00 rolls around I find a good stopping point and I'm done. I don't even think about work until the next workday morning.

It really helps that my employer's attitude towards salaried workers is it's OK if I work more than 40 hours per week with no extra pay, but it's a cardinal sin if they don't get their full 40 hours out of me. So I give them exactly 40 hours, no more no less.

The other thing about my employers is pre-COVID they would not let people work from home - in their minds if they can't physically see you working you must be slacking off. Once they were forced to let everyone work from home they discovered that overall productivity went up.
