I hope you find something that works for your back.
As you know I am mostly a pescatarian. The “broth” had a thick layer of oil on top and the broth looks like it is supposed to but not the least but appetizing to me. Hope I can stomach it. Will try it later today for lunch.

I bought a TENS device from Amazon a few years ago. My dog ate it, so I can't tell you if it works or not.

Skim off the grease but not all of it. Fat = flavor. If it’s too gross chuck it or give it to the dog.

Refrigerate it and the fat will form a hard layer on top. Easy to remove.

Is that another letter we need to add to the LGBTQ thing??

My Chiropracter used a TENS device on me when I had my herniated disc with an 18 mm piece separated. I can't say that it did much for me. Now the inversion table my kids got helped and the Chiro did eventually offer some relief once she could get my back adjusted.

I hope you feel better Nicky kneehigh, I know back pain can be exhausting in addition to excruciating.

I suffer from obesity, arthritis, degenerative disc disease and herniations of varying degree in L1 through 4. I use a combination of biofeedback (meditation), 10 minutes in a steaming shower at least once a day (better relief than 900mg Motrin) and a half juice glass of Tart Cherry juice once or twice a day. I only need NSAIDS on the very worst days. HTH!

You ought to see me after mowing the lawn, doing the weedeating, washing both cars and taking the trash out to the curb. Oh wait... you probably have!

Hubs loves it, I’m not a fan. It’s not horrible but not enjoyable.

Will try to gulp a cup a day.

Understandable for a pesc~y. Nothing like homemade stock for the foods.

If you cook shrimp or lobster, save the shells for stock. I made an amaaaazing lobster bisque using shrimp and lobs shells.

Don’t tell me you’re lactose intolerant . . .

Bone broth is amazing. The smack of the fat, the salty goodness. For digestive issues, it can’t be beat. At first it’s a bit much, very rich. But I’ve learned how to season it. When I can’t eat solid food (sometimes for weeks at a time) bone broth is my answer. It is full of nutrients, a true super food.

I put cayenne pepper in it. YMMV
