I couldn't find this one on snopes either. I may be looking incorrectly, or they are just items that can't be confirmed. But in all seriousness, i would bet this isn't 100% accurate, but certainly paints a picture we all wonder about daily.


Let me see if I got this right:


· If you cross the North Korean border illegally you get 12 years hard labor;
· If you cross the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely;
· If you cross the Afghan border illegally, you get shot;
· If you cross the Saudi Arabian border illegally you will be jailed;
· If you cross the Chinese border illegally you may never be heard from again;
· If you cross the Venezuelan border illegally you will be branded a spy and your fate will be sealed;
· If you cross the Cuban border illegally you will be thrown into political prison to rot;

If you cross the U.S. border illegally you get:

A job,
A driver’s license,
Social security card,
Welfare,
Food stamps,
Credit cards,
Subsidized rent or a loan to buy a house,
Free education,
Free health care,
A lobbyist in Washington,
Billions of dollars worth of public documents printed in your language,
The right to carry your country’s flag while you protest that you don’t get enough respect,
And, in many instances, you can vote.

I just wanted to make sure I had a firm grasp on the situation.

You almost got it right. If they catch you trying to cross the border illegaly then they feed you and take you back so you can try again (unless you have drugs, then they might jail you). You actually have to make it past the border and then lay low for a while before you can receive all the benifits listed above. Other than that you pretty much got it right.

Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me.


Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.

Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal's after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans..

And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican Nationals! The program was called 'Operation Wetback'. It was done so WWII and Korean Veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took 2 Years, but they deported them!

Now...if they could deport the illegal's back then - politicians could sure do it today? lf you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter 'Operation Wetback', into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself.
