Yes - I've always liked his treads about his house building. However, with that said should he offend the forum as he has in the past he should be informed that he has been relegated to the same dust pile as HRC.

Cause his caustic nature and CONSTANT pestering on the forum ceased to be funny long before the first permaban, but not before driving off many other members. When the first permaban was lifted it lasted only a short time before he was back to his old ways, so he was banned again. Talk to Tom, he posted a deep and sincere reason to the second permaban.

Lifting this ban is just flat out bad for drawing and retaining new and fresh posters here.

I see no reason LATB should have been banned in the first place. This place is not rocket science NOR is it a seminary.

If anyone finds his postings "objectionable", all they need do is not read them.

In response to your bolded statement, if you read the last thread on this, you'll be reminded he was also sending unsolicited messaged to folks who already blocked him. So no they can't just ignore him.

In the case of Larry, when I have 10+ supporting members, my friends, so annoyed that they are demanding "either he goes or we do", coupled with an already-obvious trend in declining forum traffic, the tough decision must be made in the best interest of the forum as a whole. From my perspective, that is NO different than him robbing us of $250, and I'm sorry, we put up with a LOT of BS here, but that I just cannot tolerate.

If I had any indication to believe he had the capability to return and act in a semi-respectful manner, I'd allow him back. But even in his last communication with us (long after he was banned), he continued on with his usual tone of arrogance. It was plainly he obvious he still didn't "get it".

Since I could not make it to any of the Barn events at NCM, I know/met maybe two folks on here, LATB included....I know only by screen names,

and in fact, have had nothing to bitch about for ANY member here....so I don't understand the banning......IF I recall correctly, I may have been banned here, but in fact maybe confused with CF on that.....note that CF has loosened up their 'rules' quite a bit recently.....the most obvious is the 4 letter words are not censored out, as much, anyway.....

AND being a mostly retarred home remodeler, I did enjoy the housing chats....
