Did it ever occur to you that many, many musicians consciously choose a different path from record labels and fame? Brad chose to use his talent to play rock music that was a passing fad. He is a killer player. Who sounds like every other shredder.

I have about ten guys at his level. Except we play traditional music. We are about tradition and art. Almost all my players are exclusively jazz and blues players. Or other traditional American styles.

For example, a few months ago I played with most of Asleep at the Wheel. They came to play my show as my guests. I have players from Lyle Lovett, B.B. King, Leonard Cohen. My regular drummer is with Steve Miller. I regularly play with guys from SRV and Double Trouble.

None of us are in it for money or fake. All are down to earth and humble. I make money doing it because I’m a pro, and because musicians at my level don’t play for free. (I also have corporate sponsors including Plymouth Gin and I endorse Fishman Electronics.) I have zero interest in going back to being a full time musician.

Actually I own a company. Did you know it’s possible to own and run companies and go on tour? Your problem is you have a need for being liked and for status. You think that everyone thinks like you.

I just play music for the love of it and I’ve been blessed to perform at very high levels around the world. I paid a lot of dues to get here.

I think your other problem (besides being a fag) is you assume too much. You assume I’m a player in some Boomer cover band playing BTO at the corner tavern for tips. Please my nigga.

What is so entertaining about your vector of attack is how far off you are. In your quest to be part of the crowd here, you have beclowned yourself.

You need to give it up because you are assuming that STS is sophisticated enough to comprehend what you are trying to tell him. He doesn't get it.
He doesn't know who Gene Krupa is. He's never heard of Duke Ellington.
And Babs Gonzales, Professor Bop? Not a clue.
He thinks Styx and Night Ranger are high class. Hell, he probably thinks Rush is the pinnacle. Our boy is not appreciative of the arts. He likes very good food, expensive cigars, and jet-skis. He's a ball point pen, use it up and throw it away guy, not a fountain pen and dovetail guy.
