If winning the plate races has nothing to do with being the best driver at the time then it should be all types of tracks because all of your reasons would work anywhere else. The spelling correction was a response to the mister NASCAR crap (which came first) so yes, it was meant to be condescending and it was very much intentional.

I have no problem being on the receiving end of good natured joking. Hell, there have been threads here dedicated solely to that purpose. However, there is a big difference between having fun joking and your replies. I don't see the joking in yours... I see arguing (with the condescending crap thrown in for good measure).

Pete not at all. Like they say things work out for the best. Like someone said this place is more for having fun than real corvette stuff. If you are joking around, great, I have absolutely no problem with that as I'm sure most here would agree, but there is definitely something about the way you say things that sounds a lot more like being an ass than it sounds like joking.
