My '85 was a dead silver when I got it, I got it and cash for my Pro Street Chevelle. I inteded on bringing it home, cleaning it up some and sell it to get the rest of my money.
That was in Dec. of '99. I still have it and it is now black and is not going anywhere until my oldest son gets it. |

I'll never again settle for other colors when I buy new, but the money you save buying used usually means you don't get your first choice in color.
I prefer white because it doesn't show scratches. |

The first Corvette I ever got to sit in was an 84 that was bronze two-tone. I was happy when I bought an 84 the same color. I've always liked the dark reds and when I happen to spot my 90 at a car lot I just couldn't pass it up.

My seats and doors are white but the rest of the interior is black. I really like the look. I didn't get to pick the color, like a goof I just bought the first one I saw. I got lucky on the price since I didn't shop around. Could have done better but sure could of done worse too. On the C6 we were looking for a Blue one but ended up with Montery Red. Money talks when your looking for the best deal.

A guy I know had the car parked at the college at least once a week. I knew he took care of it, so I bugged him for about six months before he sold it to me, to buy a new one. I went with the car, not the color. I like different colors in the different generations.
