A/C low pressure is high
I just bought a recharge A/C kit and as soon as I plugged the can with a gauge on the line. I automatically read 115 psi. From what I have read in the last quick few mins was either its honestly
If the pressure on the low side is high the following may be the problem. 1. Leak in system Repair leak in system 2. Defective expansion valve Replace valve 3. Suction valve closed Open valve 4. Freon shortage Add freon 5. Plugged receiver drier Replace drier 6. Compressor suction valve leaking Replace valve 7. Bad reed valves in compressor Replace reed valves I don't want to keep pumping freon in it and it keep overcharging it. I only put about half a can in and the pressure seemed to rise. I am guessing I really need a new compressor?
