Default OK Boomers.....

Chill the effff out

Local Costco today..... Ya'lll need to get a grip. This line zig zags in the store, then outside and along the building. Costco posted a sign that there were no cleaning supplies, toilet paper, water, etc and these old farts still waited in the store for hours to see if shipments came in. This type of shit doesn't even happen when hurricanes hit.

Idiots.

I'm trying to just live like every other day and the lunatic "sky is falling" hoarders are jacking everything up.

I need ONE thing. NyQuil. If I get Corona virus, I'll take NyQuil, drink water, stay home. Simple.

Great. The wife and I are going to Costco tomorrow for my daughter to get her a new phone. Since it's the weekend, it's probably going to be packed with idiots buying stuff they don't need.
This somewhat resembles the long gas lines of the 70's. People filling up even through they still had 3/4 of a full tank.

I am the youngest of the boomers being born in 1964. When I was in the panic stricken supermarket this morning, I would say less than 10% of the crowd was my age or older. Honestly, it looked like mostly GenXers looking to stock up on TP for their school age kids.

I was seeing the blue hairs earlier. Going to go later to get a few things I'm out of when it's past their bed times

Costco and may other stores around here are limiting things like toilet paper water and paper towels to 2 per person. Still trying to figure out what toilet paper has do with the corona virus.

I honestly still haven't been able to figure out why Gertrude is on the road at 7 am. Of course in the left lane doing 10 under.

I'm thinking about staying home all weekend.

Saturday is our normal errand-shopping day.
The SO is at her 92 y/o mother's house daily doing care-taker stuff, and
I'm still working week-days.
We shop for our stuff, plus stuff the SO needs for the old bag's house too.
Guess I'll have to do it during the week. But, with the Governor cancelling
school for at least a month, stores will probably be crowded daily now.

I was at the store yesterday, and it was complete panic. Then, yesterday afternoon, the town announced all schools would be closed until further notice. Went to the store this morning, and everything seemed normal. Don't ask me to explain it.

All this time I've been thinking of sources for water and then I saw these silver handled fixtures in several places in the house. I moved one and WATER CAME OUT !! Then I turned it one way and the damn water got HOT. I was freaking out. I don't even have to go to any stores. It literally comes right into my house. I am amazed...and luckier than all these people waiting for delivery trucks. I am a KING.
