This morning after dropping my kid off at school I was switching from middle lane to right lane to make an upcoming right turn when I saw traffic slowed making right turns into a shopping center just before my intersection. I pulled back into middle lane to get past the slowed/stopped vehicles before making my right turn. Made my right turn and saw in my mirror the unmarked PD car make a right as well, so I set cruise to 50 in the 45 mph speed zone flowing with traffic. Sure enough, PD got behind me at a light and lit me up after it turned green. He stated he was pacing me at 60 mph, blah, blah, blah. As much as I was tempted to, I didn't argue with him, I just said I was going with the flow of traffic and had no idea.
Just a verbal warning. I think I got his attention when he saw be behind him then jump in middle lane to swing by him while he was in the traffic line for shopping center. No ticket, but I'm pissed that he pulled me over with no cause assuming he planned to make stuff up if I had the wrong attitude during the traffic stop.

I didn’t even have that nervous feeling in my gut when I pulled over. I knew for a fact already it was a bullshit fishing expedition. Guarantee he was just butthurt because I “cut him off” before the intersection.

My stepdad who's 86 and just recovered from the rona is in the hospital for emergency surgery. My Mom isn't allowed in and she's worried sick about him. They're in California so the hospitals like to make old sick people die alone and afraid.

Please pray for him. He raised me from 10 years old, he's always been a good man to me.

Prayers. I am very sorry he is in California where prayers are discouraged.

It is an absurd policy to not allow visitors. Fkn prisoners on death row get a visitor, but not hospital patients.
