Default Red Line Goods

Lets start this one from scratch.

Do I need to go to WAR with RedLine?

Genuine Italian leather shift boots - custom made for your car! - Page 3 - Corvette Forum

This is the PM I sent him yesterday, CC/infoed HP and Pewter99. He logged in today, and did not respond.

I'm giving him until Sunday afternoon to respond, and I will post the pictures on his thread, and a bash will go along with it.

Can I count of Barn support?

I'd like to fix this issue as soon as possible with a replacement boot.

Thanks

Not sure if this makes any sense, but basically put it on upside down and inside out. You can "adjust" the height as much as you need at that point. Once it is attached, flip it right side out and attach the bottom.

I just received this email from him after he told me he was going to rrefund my money.

Quote:
Hello!

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU SEND US ANYTHING!

1. If you use USPS First Class Mail it will only cost around $10 and the shipment will arrive here within one week since you dispatch it. You might want to consider Global Express Mail, but it's usually more expensive. Please DO NOT USE Economy Mail it takes 6-8 weeks for delivery!

2. Please DO NOT DECLARE ANY CUSTOMS VALUE on the shipment - this will just delay the process and make us have to pay duties, which we will in turn ask of you.
So, the process will not only take longer, but it will cost you more.

3. Please IDENTIFY THE CONTENTS CLEARLY! We need to know who sent it (including your email address, preferably include a hardcopy of our past correspondence) and what is expected we do with it (if you already know your color preferences for the items we will send you in exchange, please include that information as well).

Please send to

REDLINEGOODS
Skr. Poczt. Nr. 4

POLAND

Have a great day,
Maciek
Do you guys think it is worth it doing all this hassle?

That crap cost me $60, $10-$15 to ship it, and likely he will come up with an excuse and will never pay anything back.

I think you got your $60 ($75 w shipping, lol) worth on the bashing front. You would probably feel better to blast it with a 12 ga than get your money back.

I thought of that few times. If I send it, he will claim it never got there, laugh at me, and probably re-sell it to another Vette Non-CF guy.

If I don't do it, I can keep telling the truth to all C4 members there.

Why can't they simply refund your money and you keep the crappy boot? Jesus, WTF is wrong with people.

Unless they also refund your shipping charges (1st time and this time), I think you're throwing good money after bad. Your posts and pix bit them well. They may want to keep the evidence and claim that it never arrived. I'd end it now. You have the pix and can be an advocate for suckers every time there's a dispute and really load the argument in the customer's favour.

You know what you got for your money that went to Poland, and you know the quality you found from a local Made-In-USA vendor!

I'd make sure everyone knows it's a polish company and post the address they gave to ship back. There are a lot of folks that wouldn't care to do business with a company that far away let alone not American. If I knew I had to send a part back to Poland for any reason i wouldn't buy in the first place.

Pete, tell them to send you a bottle of their finest Polish Vodka, or you'll take a video of the boot being executed by a shot gun

F*ck the 12ga blast. Hit them with a nuke.

Send a letter to US customs that they are shipping animal goods (leather) and BLANANTLY lying about it on their customs declaration, as well as telling customers to do the same thing.

I know that yours isn't leather, but when I ordered mine... I actually did have leather parts. They were marked as "samples, imitation leather" or something like that.

Last I checked, falsifying customs forms was a felony.

Thanks, I've been on it since Bryan wrote this morning. The $59 will be like a long-term
investment for them. I think I already had $59 with the fun. Everything from here on is profit.

Do you guys remember "PAYASO"?
