I had a Polack friend in high school. Went over to his house one weekend. He was painting the living room. Except, instead of bringing the can and roller tray with him, he would walk back each time, dip the roller, and roll the wall. As he progressed down the wall, the walk got further and further. He was too farkin' stupid to bring the paint with him.

Maybe some of you old farts might remember old school names for tools?
I was telling Pete that growing up as a kid, my dad use to call the good old crescent wrench a "Polak" wrench. Some more here: Old school names for tools [Archive] - The Garage Journal Board |

When I rented a car in Holland, they said if it was a Porsche, BMW, or Mercedes, that you were not allowed to go to Latvia, Poland, and some other places near there.
Maybe they wanted their cars back without missing interior leather. |
