My kid (only one) has been raised with classics and car runs. She's nearly as big a gearhead as anyone I know, and has me working little by little on her chosen classic, a C3. It's not especially valuable, just an old rubber bumper in need of a lot of help, but you'd think it was brand new when we crank it up and she gets to drive a few blocks. Even though it looks like it has leprosy right now due to paint stripping.
The memories made in that old stuff is priceless.

Those are the memories they will tell their kids and friends about long after you and I are gone.

I can't even start the car without at least 2 of them running out of the house for a ride. Then they start a fight over who gets to sit in the C5. One of the best parts of the old goat; we can all fit except #6 who is off to college now anyway.
