EVERYTHING starts with 1

1 car accident
1 overdose
1 of everything

440 in one hotspot probably gets 4 million eventually and then 3 million and then 2 million and then NO million.

They need to drop the bullshit and let it fly. Now CDC says no symptoms, no need to test. WTF do they want to keep these numbers growing? It's a rhetorical question, not one for you.

Yes, we have stopped doing the repeat testing for those that previously tested positive.

Recommendation still stands to stay home for 10 days if you had direct exposure.

BUT......

Here is MY question: if most young people are asymptomatic and are not being tested. How would they know they have been

A~exposed

OR

B~are a carrier if no testing is being done???

Good question. Ask the CDC - before they change their mind again.

FFS. You could say the same if you spent the same time with anyone who has the flu, a cold, typhoid fever, leprosy, the clap, crabs or pregnant.

Today in Washington DC. Democrats are fine with this. I don't want to hear another damned thing about muh social distancing muh masks muh 15 160 days to stop the spread. Just stop it already. Thankfully in my part of the country things are nearly 100% normal.

In their defense.

How can anyone really be an expert with a novel virus 9 months in? I hope they do change recommendations as new information is learned. Keeping things stagnant and not modifying recommendations would be MORE concerning to me.

We, as a WORLD, are a LONG way off to become experts on SARSCOV2.

Much like a new vehicle. Really, was any mechanic an expert at working on Tesla vehicles when they 1st came out (hell, even NOw)> no.

Even virologists debate on many aspects concerning this virus.

You know, that's a 0.01257% infection rate? Best to just go ahead and shut down the campus. Or the county. NOOO, with that infection rate, shut down the whole ****ing state! ****in' Trump! It's all his fault.

I really have ZERO concerns about spending 15 minutes with someone that tests positive for pregnancy..

When I'm NOT an expert on something, I tend to STFU.
I wouldn't buy a brand new car and start telling everyone how to drive it, where to drive it, the best features, the way to maintain it, etc.

You have to look at this NOT from a healthcare standpoint but from a political one.

Confusion makes for MUCH easier manipulation
They want these numbers to go back up because it fits the agenda. It helps Trump fail. They already know that in a month or two they can just say "oops, looks like we need to go back to testing" and everyone will just do as they are told.

C’mon, just stop already. You don’t have to know ANYTHING about it to know that more testing is better if you really want to track how it’s spreading.

I've been through an older teen in our home that tested positive, a couple days of feeling like chit he was good.

No, you were defending the CDC. That’s the same CDC that said nobody should wear masks before saying everyone should wear masks. The same CDC that said we needed to sacrifice the economy to flatten the curve, until there was no curve to flatten so they changed it to stop the spread. The same CDC that said we need lots of testing to identify asymptomatic carriers now says don’t test unless there are symptoms. It will be a long time before the CDC regains trust from the general public.
