Mountain Dew and a two Tramadol.

I grew up in Italy and breakfast was never a big meal. The first big one was lunch. It's been hard to break that habit since I was raised that way (without the mountain dew and tramadol)

-Two jumbo eggs scrambled with monterey jack cheese
-Two slices of thick cut bacon
-One cup of coffee with heavy whipping cream, no sugar
-Two glasses of water
-One Centrum Ultra pill

Delicious, nutritious, filling, chock full of protein and fat, and close to zero carbs.

I'd recommend finding another doctor and a second opinion when it comes to your diet.

I could fill an entire page with more.

The U.S. govt. food pyramid and the nutrition field in general is basically nothing but century old dogma that is completely unfounded in modern science.

Many, if not most, individuals with weight problems, blood pressure problems, cholesterol problems, etc. would benefit from a proper low-carbohydrate diet.

There's a reason America suddenly got fat and unhealthy over the past couple decades, and has been suddenly saddled with massive amounts of diabetes, blood pressure problems, cholesterol problems, etc. and it isn't the meat, vegetables, fat, and protein we've been eating for centuries.

My high blood pressure is hereditary, it is not caused by obesity. My dad, who has never been overweight in his life and weighs in at maybe 135 these days, has very high blood pressure. Believe me, I am not on a low-fat diet. I agree with you on what you have posted about them. I have oatmeal in the morning because it is quick and easy. I make up a batch a couple of times a week and reheat a bowl in the microwave every morning. Often, I will have a hard-boiled egg with it.
