Both retorts would have been personally satisfying, but not appropriate for the workplace. I think this guy handled it decently. I'm sure customer facing positions aren't expected to just take whatever crap is being dished out by the customer, and I'm assuming those front line workers have the power to boot the unruly off of their flights. I don't know, I never bothered to read the contract of carriage on the back of my tickets.

Then again, I always try to be respectful of people I encounter. I always thank the cashier and bagger when I go to the grocery store, for example. No need to go through life seeking conflict.

I agree with treating workers with respect. I told the cashier at the market today thanks and have a great New Years. During the pandemic I thanked them for being there. On their feet for 8 hours a shift. I was in the ditches as a younger man so I know what it feels like. I appreciate very much the service providers I utilize, especially since I retired.

I actually had a ring-nosed purple haired freak (complete with ear lobe disks, whatever the Hell those are called) demand I address it using certain pronouns.

I really did reply "How about I call you asshole instead?" and walked away. Of course, this wasn't a work environment

Contrary to my rather laid back responses on forums in real life I tend to be a lot more outspoken. Good thing I retired when I did or I trust I would have a lot more problems on the job sites.

The woman (who I beleive most do not belong on heavy construction) were just starting to be more prevalent on job sites. Getting all sorts of Federal and state goverment help to get on jobs, sort of like the goverment is doing with electric cars now.

They were enough to cause trouble at work, with the new crew of idiots out there I have a feeling I would have a lot of write ups and serious counseling and new ways of doing things to keep me working.

In CA, maybe the US, there is an old law from about 140 years ago that says the Post Office has to pay you 9 cents per dead crow as a bounty to eradicate them. A co-worker who I hunted upland birds with always thought it would be a laugh to try it out. The problem with trannys is most of them are HUGE. Either obese, or tall, or both. Hard to lug around and turn in to the post office.

I sympathize with people struggling mentally with their gender identity. I really do. However, asshole transgender activists like this that are only out to make the lives of others a living hell need to do their part in adding to the suicide rate among their people.
