If you want traction and handing why not try a Nitto R2 or Toyo R888 or something similar?
These things blow the R888's away as far as traction goes. I'll have to decide on a 345x18 tire.

Cold temp make any tire tough to hook at my power level.........can see yours being worse
I ran my MTs at 35psi hot on the road
I run the below on the back of my 97' with 18 x 12 HRE's for full time street duty, sticky tire and meant for carving

You can always tub it and stuff a 345 in there but a 335 will give the same traction

That'll look great. I think it'll be a nice change up from the flat black classics.

Mrs. WKMCD saw a set of chrome wheels on one if my friends cars and really liked them. I'll blame here when they come in. You're right though, it will be a nice change up. I think the 500's are more hot-rod than some of their other wheels.

Rejex them good when you first get them and it should alleviate some of the polishing.

I wonder how much (in diamonds) this purchase is going to cost.

It usually doubles the cost of mods.

I already scheduled the cruise.

OK, but I'm not sliding along the garage floor like those boys on tv do.
Funny thing........ever since then, I've double checked the lugs when I take a wheel off.

I never use my TW to take bolts/lugs/nuts off. I got bigger hammers for that.
