Well, the system is installed. I still have to tidy up the wiring, cover it in tubing, and zip tie things up nice and neat.
Took WAY more hours than expected, but I took my time. I had to fab up a custom mount for the bottle, since it wouldn't fit in the center storage because of the 12 disc changer. Everything worked great when wired per the diagram of the HSW wet kit. Once I wired up the Microedge controller, things went to hell. I've been going back and forth with HSW about wiring and settings on the controller, and I think I have it narrowed down to a single wire that is grounded for the kit, but not sure it should be grounded for the controller. Waiting to hear back from HSW to be certain of this, before I disconnect it from ground. Can't wait to get that first hit of spray! Yep, it was the ground wire on the relay. Everything is in working order. Now, I gotta wait for the roads to dry to test it out.....

You're telling me!
The roads are dry this morning. Soon as the sun comes up and gets the road temps up a bit, I'm taking it out for the first shake down run.

Talk about pissed off! I went out this morning to test the N20 system once more time before I took it out on the road. Put the controller in test mode, and NOTHING! It wouldn't fire the selonoids!
I spent all day on this SOB. I re-ran all the wiring, checked every connection, tested this, tested that, multimetered this&that........the dam thing still isn't grounding the relay to activate the fuel and nitrous noids. Finally got ahold of tech support at Harris Speed Works. Tell the guy what is happening, and what all I've done. He tells me to cut the ground wire coming from the Microedge controller, wire another wire to that, and connect that to the ground of the relay. Do this, and still nothing! Call tech support again. I tell him it's the controller, he says probably not, but put in a support ticket with all the info I have, and what all kids of tests I've done, and one of the in house engineers(they build these things right there) will get back with me. Sure enough, the engineer tells me it sounds like the internal fuse is blown, and I have to send it back for them to test/repair. I knew it was the dam controller! At this point I have about 30 hours wrapped up in this N20 system, and haven't sprayed once! Now I have to return the controller, wait for them to repair/replace it, and re-install the darn thing. I'm about as torqued as I can be right about now! On a side note, I didn't take out any of the wiring for the WOT switch(that works perfectly) so I can still activate the system if I want with that instead of the TPS of the controller. I just have to hit the switch once I get above 3000 RPM. Think I'll go out and see how the spray feels right now. Piss on that controller.........

That sucks about the controller! Hope they get it back to you quick. Where did you end up mounting it?
Are you on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck?

Didn't take Sneaks out Garb. Ate a tuna sub and went to bed. Gotta work tonight, and I was tired, pissed off, and just said hell with it.
Wendy, I sent you pics of the system. No tow truck Munch. I was laying on the side of the bed, dreaming of someone over this dam controller.

I like some of those features on that Harris unit. the A/F shutdown/gear lockout especially.damn shame it won't work. I have an A/F gauge, but in the "heat of the moment" when you are lining up with someone else that's the last thing you think about. I'm spraying fuel, too so hopefully I'll have no "lean" problems. I haven't yet & I've had the kit a long time. I forgot the "no spraying in 1st" rule awhile back & just bounced off the rev limiter while the other guy hooked up & jumped way out in front. that lockout would have helped there. this chit is fun. you'll be wanting a 150 shot before long.

that's the beauty of the "juice." no belts,no pulleys. just pull one out & plug in another.

Took Sneaks down to pick up Kevins car yesterday. Hit the spray once with Kevin in the car on the way down there. The bottle was cold, and only putting out 650PSI. Still you could feel a nice little "kick" when it hit.
When we were coming back, I hit it again with Kevin and Damon behind me. We left a stop light on RT 29, warm bottle, 850+PSI, still the 75 shot, I hit the spray once it shifted into second.....60 to 140 like right now! I called Kevin on the cell, he said there was zero coming out the exhaust. No sign of being too rich(black smoke), or too lean(white stuff). Well, almost zero. He said there were pieces of catalytic converter being thrown out the back. Since it responded so well with the 75 jets, I think this week the 100 shot jets are going in, and we'll see how it likes a little more juice.

Yup, sure does. All I have to do is move the bottle forward in the brackets, and it JUST fits.
