one factor, I am sure they are blissfully unaware of, is that one rogue moderator has significantly shrank the market on all of their for sale items.......cars, parts, etc..........however, in true narcissistic fashion, I'm sure they could not care less how their boorish behavior negatively affects the very people that make their existence possible.....hey a lot like democrats.

IB doesnt care, its all about money from advertisements. Money is the key to that forums success, for the company.
As far as Moderators, admin, etc, I imagine they are being compensated well. Well enough to forget where they came from.

I still go there, mostly C6, C7 and C8, I beleive my longest ban was 30 days, I have received at least 50 bans and notifications, all when in PRC, all when explaining the fact to oblamo and fjb deepthroaters.

Many comments in C6, C7 and C8 could be considered ban worthy, but appears almost no moderation in those, as mods live in OT and PRC.

IB loses very little if anything by members being banned. I doubt OT generates any revenue for vendors. Banned members can still read specific gen threads and are actually shown MORE ads than members are by way of the banner ads.

They only see an impact if people stay away. Clicks count as a win for companies that track such things.

This. IB's revenue last year was $1.6 Billion. They couldn't possibly care any less how CFOT is moderated or who gets banned unless it impacts advertisers and revenue from CF.

In fact, there's a ton of people that have left (banned I guess) CFOT. The last go around I asked JimZ06 where to go for a good chat - and he indicated this forum. This will be my new 'go to' place to shoot the shit!
