Doug, you seem like a nice guy and I usually find your posts entertaining. However, things at the other place seemed to get out of hand. I have some advice for you though. Don't use these forums like facebook. Don't post daily updates of every aspect of your life. You are inviting many of the negative responses you get. Please listen to some of the responses by people who appear to care. When someone shares personal information about their mental health issues, posts about relationships, personal and business finances, and pretty much every idea they have, people will respond and you will take it personally. Turn the filter dial up a notch or two and you will have fun here.

Based on my past history there isn't really much I can disagree with there. All I can hope is that my future behavior will be used to judge me from here on out, not my past.

I was only regular on one forum, scouts honor. I rarely do Facebook or other sites like that. I usually come home from the truck lot, pour a wine, and watch NBA league pass while posting on the one forum (with cats rotating in the lap lol). And scan Match, can't forget Match.

I'm an attention whore who annoys people on the forum. I'll work on that. Once this "fresh start" thread dies down if you see any drama from me I'll man up like I did over there and ban myself.

I only got a 3 day ban from the mods for my antics, the remaining 6 months was me keeping my word, in that if I acted up I would ban myself (and pay $1000 to St.Jude).

While I like the forum I'm not a glutton for punishment and won't stick around where I'm not wanted. Negativity and shitty people are no longer acceptable in my life, internet or real, so it would be hypocritical to not accept that then be shitty and annoying myself.

I know there are a lot of good doods over at CF, and I like quite a few of them... but one thing I noticed over there that I don't care for much... is being mean to others is considered kinda cool..
