[Iron Chef]

This weekend, Gail (MEC5LADY) and Laurie (Lilredcorvette94) came to visit and get some Texas hospitality. It was an awesome weekend, and on the way home from Liz's house last night, I thought about how much had changed. I looked at my pics from Cruise-In VIII and saw how much fun everyone had together. A scant three years later, Cruise-In is dead, Corvette Forum is all but dead (or, it certainly wasn't the fun place it used to be), and it's one of the few times that I find myself truly angry at how two demagogues have been allowed so much unchecked authority.

Not that anyone cares, but I hold Jim and Jesse totally responsible for destroying what was so much fun for so many.

And since we know that you troll here, you should also know that you're both spineless, stoneless, lying cowards.

I was genuinely saddened at what has become of things, so thanks for letting me vent.

I never liked Jim. He was always talking down to everyone at the CI's. I hated waiting for the grub from Roscoe only to wait for his highness to come strolling up and be served by the peasants. But no one could eat until the little jerk walked up to the front of the line and had his grub first.

Mike, even the difference between 9 and 10 was enough to convince me not to do it again.

Well...I have it on good authority that we will once again gather in Texas for another Memorial Day extravaganza. So I hope you'll come out this time!
