I was a career Marine, and we only had trousers. Pants were for slimy civilians, and dungarees were for sailors.
I was indoctrinated that we couldn't wear jeans. It was easy to spot a Marine officer out of uniform. We always wore polo shirts, khakis, and topsiders. |

Well, it's 36 degrees here today, and I'm wearing shorts.
Have to go to rehab on the knee today (Ruptured quadraceps tendon), and I wear a brace set at 70 degrees bend max. Once I get home, I'll take off the brace and put on some jeans. Will probably be around 30 degrees by then. 2-3 more months of this shit. |
