Oh holy Hell....I'd forgotten about pennies on the tone arm. How about a match book under the 8-Track to make it play?

Betty Boop does not have the tires like The Ghost and it rides on VBP sport monospring suspension. I dont know what the hell I was thinking about doing 80 and trying to take those curves but Im going back there for revenge for sure.

The more I think and the more I drive it on Betty Boop I come to realize that the damn ASR is for street driving only. Few C5 and C6 owners dislike their traction control system as well.
Pete... you need to go find a PDX/Track day somewhere close by. You would love it.

Maybe the C5 system needs a little polish, but the C6 one on the non-z06 models is spot-on.

No reason to turn it off all the way when the 'comp mode' lets you hang the ass end out 3-4 feet before it intervenes. Guys who go coil-over and soft compound at the same time have to turn it off though.

the mode before that lets you spin the tires, but doesn't let the rear scoot out more than 6" to 1 foot before it reigns in the fun. Then you have totally on which is great for the street, especially for these 40 degree mornings.

I've had my C6 on Spring mountain. Comp mode is good. Maybe I'd turn the whole thing off if i was driving a school car, but i don't want to stuff $40k of my money into the tire barrier.

You would wad up a C6 in 3 months if you drove one with the system off. The transaxle cars will bite you faster than the front heavy C4.

now if you are talking about your C4- I get it..I just liked it in the rain, but you can live without it.

I wish the camera wasnt broken and the cell battery was not dead. That picture would make all C4 owners proud.

Hit berm at 61 MPH, brake shock, bend shock tower and no frame damage.

That may mean a C6 should be able to hit that berm at 90 and survive.
