As a street racer of the 60s-70s I was around a lot of custom wheels. I personalty owned 5 different sets of wheels including one set of Cragers over that time frame. Working at my buddies speedshop/garage I have mounted and changed tires on many customers rides. We did good careful work and did a lot of it. Every person that worked at that garage was a serious car person and we were kept busy!

Because it is not a shit vehicle. They are a great riding rig and actually very capable for what t is (uni-body).

Payload of about 1,500 lbs and 5,000 lbs towing, I believe it will do everything your Ranger will.

I like them.
They would look out of place on a modern car IMO. But still look great on most anything from the 1960's & 1970's.

Cragers look dated, and I do not like them anymore......however Torque Thrusts look good on nearly any car, and have stood the test of time much better

Cragars were cool but I liked my Keystone Klassics more.

Cragar SS or American Torque Thrust originals look great on every car from the 70's on back. They just need to be 15" ort 14"----none of this 20" ghetto shit.

I drove a friend's on a camping trip and he drove my Toyota for a little while. I hated the front drive and the soggy power off road.
Give me a frame and rear wheel drive on a truck so I can do truck stuff.

My Ranger has a payload of 1800#, towing capacity of 7500#, real 4WD high and low, electronic locking rear differential, and cost me only $34k. I'll take that over a sideways engine unibody "truck" all day long.

And you can never go wrong with Cragers on Cameros.

Pretty sure @Giraffe can testify to that. Where is that guy, anyway?
Dunno where @Giraffe (He/Him) is.

What does that have to do with the payload & towing capacities? And they are very capable off road, more than you'd think. And in snow they are excellent.

It has everything to do with serviceability and utility.

Ranger does not equal "truck". Like the redneck version of a Subaru Brat.
