I would imagine the cost of renting significant space at a major auto show would be pretty exorbitant for one lone dealer. That's most of the advertising budget for the year, blown in one weekend.

Many farmers and ranchers have Dodge/Ram trucks.

I had a 2018 Ram sport and wish I would have kept it. I got caught up in the used car price frenzy during the covid scam and let it go.

Newer Ram body style looks off, the classic isn't optioned very well and regardless, prices are ridiculous. Something has to give eventually with factories or interest rates. Local dealer lots are overflowing with trucks.

At some of the "smaller" auto shows, dealers do show up with some inventory and do indeed sell their inventory there.

Might be too late to pull out of that show. Go down and enjoy their set up. Might be the last chance you get.

I read something today that indicated '24 is the last year for the Mustang. Didn't read the entire article, so maybe I'm wrong.

Either way, it's a shame to see Camaro leave the building. Rumor has it that the Charger/Challenger replacement will have EV powertrains as well as ICE powertrains. Wouldn't be surprised if the Pentastar V6 is the entry level engine with the Hurricane 6 being the range-topper, and the power levels are greater than the 5.7 and 6.4 engines they're replacing. Time will tell.

And Ford makes the best truck IMO. And that’s not just because I currently own one, I’ve had plenty of Chevy GMC Ram Toyota trucks. Actually most were Chevy. Maybe I’ll own another someday…but not this day.

They have indeed cut their own throat. Companies need to quit letting the government dictate what the consumer "wants"....

I also am a Ford truck guy. But as of late, Ford has been having huge quality issues.

My wife drives a 2019 Cherokee and the little suv has been excellent. Approaching 6 years (took delivery 4-18) and only oil changes and without a single problem.

She’s thinking about moving up to the Grand Cherokee but this one only has 30K and she’s afraid of getting rid of a good car and getting one that has problems.

This has been my experience in monitoring the servicing and repairing these vehicles as well. They tend to break for the sake of breaking. Major stuff like transmissions and engines. Co-worker bought an AWD 300 for whatever reason and the differentials failed. The car sounded like a huge pencil sharpener. He turned it back in as a lemon and moved on to a Hyundai.
