Default Dodge, Ram, Jeep pull out of North American Auto Shows

Stellantis Is Pulling Out Of North American Auto Shows

It's too bad. I always thought the Jeep obstacle courses were fun.

I mean, they still have a following with their Jeep and Dodge truck enthusiasts, but showing up to an auto show will just highlight their self inflicted wound of dropping cars people actually WANT to buy, all the various Charger and Challenger iterations.

Self. Inflicted. Wound.

That's a drop in the bucket compared to what they are going to lose after their plan for corporate suicide is enacted this year with the discontinuation of their two high demand vehicles.

Chrysler should "pull out" of manufacturing vehicles all together. Daughter has a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and wife has a 2016 Durango, rolling shitboxes I've had to spend a small fortune to keep on the road. Lightly driven, never abused and low mileage - and still shitboxes.

Pretty sure that Ram trucks and the Jeep (Cherokee and Wrangler) are what makes them money.

Correct. RAM trucks, Wranglers and Grand Cherokees are Stellantis' cash cows. The Challenger/Charger siblings bring in a fair amount as well.

I believe that Stellantis is going to fall on its face when the "all electric" Charger/Challenger replacement is introduced. And when that happens, it will leave a mark.

I’ve had a couple of Ram trucks but doubt I will have another. Wife has a Cherokee and it’s been a good vehicle.

Don’t forget the mini vans. They have been BIG sellers since they introduced them years ago.

Thank government over reach, forcing these manufacturers to go electric before they are ready

Why would they spend money to participate in auto shows when they don't have anything worthy of showing with the exception of Ram trucks? Oh wait...there is the new Dodge Hornet!!

I heard they were out of the Chicago show. If they pull out Detroit show, I can’t see going next year, the obstacle course experience from both Ram and Jeep were the best parts of the show

It did say local dealers could attend in their place. I would if I was a dealer. Hell, I would sell at the show.
