Canada descent into tyranny is almost complete

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is threatening his most tyrannical attack on freedom yet through his government’s proposed Online Harms Act (currently Bill C-63). Brought to you by the same farcically-named “Liberal” party who froze the bank accounts of the truckers who protested vaccine-mandates, the OHA is the government’s overzealous attempt to promote online safety...

...the OHA’s provisions on posting hateful content would require amendments to Canada’s Criminal Code as well as its Human Rights Act. While the victims of online “hate” may be comforted by tough new penalties, the changes are radical, particularly a new hate crime offence which can lead to life imprisonment. Worryingly, the criminal provisions of the OHA would give judges the ability to put people under house arrest because they might commit a hate crime in the future....

Better destroy your computers and cell phones if this becomes law. Life in prison and house arrest for things you haven't done? Funny stuff considering murder can see you released from behind bars in less than a decade up there... Assuming you're not a white male.

The Left is leading the charge to world totalitarian government with China's "social credit" system as the model.

It's not only the liberal-left. So-called conservatives are advocating CBDCs all over the western world. In my local hardware store a sign has appeared saying "please pay by card where possible, to minimise cash-handling".

I make a point of using cash there, unless it's a big purchase. Nobody objects.

FFS we've used cash for centuries, yet the sheeple are so gullible that somehow they (still) fear an agonizing death from handling cash.

Our TV aired the movie "TOTAL TRUST - SURVEILLANCE STATE" - a 90 minute documentary filmed in China following the fate of the wife of a lawyer who was incarcerated for defending those fallen foul of the system. Chilling stuff, seeing her & others showing their phone "health pass" to enter a store, she being blocked as it turns from green to yellow. Elsewhere, farmers protesting in a street demo find theirs have all turned to red - just by facial recognition technology / China's billions of CCTV cameras.
