I warned a vet tech about a 1.5 yr old husky we had just adopted.. Told her needed a muzzle or I'd have to hold head.. She didn't listen until he came around and tried taking a few fingers off. Kodak moment right there. Sick but true fact... I had to train him to not ruin people when poking him back there. Any guesses how.
Some things you shouldn't have to do in life and that's in the top ten.

Our vet has us bring a fresh stool sample to avoid getting the poop plunger scooper up the butt.

Well it involved lifting of the tail and poking repeatedly. And no i didn't use my finger(nor any other body part ya pervs). Took about six months before he was trained. Many snaps were attempted by him. Worked up to thermometer after that, first time forgot the lube and lucky I retained my hand.
Usually huskies couldn't care less about a probing.
Next vet visit was much less exciting.
Not sure what happened before we got him but man he was touchy about it.
Wife may have walked in during a "session" and just turned around...

Ranks right there with a baby puking in your mouth don't it...

True story:

I had debated being a veterinarian. Was working as a vet tech at the time. A large male bulldog came in as well as a bitch bulldog. I thought we were “breeding” them and just supervising.

Little did I know that I had to collect the males sperm in a collection vessel while he “thought” he was pounding the teaser bitch.

Also worked for an equine vet for some time, same concept except an excited thoroughbred stallion is scary as hell and they ejaculate a MASSIVE amount of sperm.

The worst part was the vet made sure I understood the extreme high value of the disgusting warm spoooooge I was handling.


Just a few of the reasons I don’t regret going into human medicine. Still have to put fingers in places…. But no jiz handling at least.
