I wasn't in the market, hell I wasn't even looking. But a month ago I realized I hadn't taken my Telecaster out of it's case since last spring. So,,,, I took it to the local mom and pop I do business with and traded it in on another Clapton Strat. The first one I bought 29 years ago. The neck shape on this is a bit different and the pickups are Noiseless as opposed to the Gold Lace Sensors my '88 has.

Very similar to the '88. The Lace PUs are a bit 'glassier' that the Vintage Noiseless although they have a bit more punch.
