Default I Hope That I'm Not Screwing This Purchase Up A/C -Heat

I settled on this one for the area below.
There is no A/C but there is heat in the floors.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QMQIPIA/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza#Ask
I am going to place it in the hallway so that the A/C hits all of the rooms depending on which doors are opened or closed in the bathroom or bedrooms.
I'm winging it here and haven't a clue if the air will travel to the living room or not. I'm thinking that if I turn it colder, it will and then I'll regulate it when the optimal temp is reached. It'll be colder in the hallway, but so what....
Any advice on this matter is appreciated.

You kitchen is larger than your living room, so how can they have the same square footage?

They're both 12' x 22'. My writing is somewhat illegible apparently..
It is just a quick sketch. I'm not an artist

I just put a split unit AC and heat in my detached garage, it's total sq is 1600 sq with only one wall and a walk through 30" door between the two sides.. The small side of the garage has a wall unit, that I installed when I bought this house, the bigger side has the split unit.. It's a 1 ton also, it works great, it will keep both sides cool and warm, but again only one wall and a walk through door..

I don't want to sound negative, but it would concern me the way that is set up, lot of walls and corners to tend with.. Any ceiling fans? Do you know someone in AC work that look at it?

Here is what the garage looks like from the outside..

No, I hear you.
That is my concern as well. There is a ceiling fan in the kitchen and that's it.
The A/C Heat trade is the only one I don't have connections in.
My plumber primarily works on boilers and plumbing.
I think that it'll work, but I'm not positive.

I am not HVAC anything, so just a thought.
Could you place the unit in the kitchen so that part of the flow goes down the hall while part is deflected by the kitchen wall?

Nope.
The rest of the house is there and there is a wall of cabinets there.

Side note, my unit's AC inside fan never shuts off, outside shuts off, and is quite as can be, walk 15 steps away you can't hear it run, inside is not as quite as I would like, but it's not in my house.. I know some units inside will shut off, I wish mine did but I did not know that until it was installed, might want to check it out..

Jest from essperience and knowing that fizz icks sez cold air falls, I would take your a/c output and frame it into a duct that is about 12 vertically and 15" across, to pipe the air through a internal flex duct into the kitchen area, maybe through the top wall into the adjacent room...., MAY consider another outlet into each bedroom, and of course the bath, BUT the bath may be just a ~6" pipe into the room....maybe 4" would work,

lots of this depends on your roof color, sun angles, exposure/shade but I would not put the unit through the wall down LO, has to be up high

What about return?? or is that not a huge concern....

It's not a forced air system Gene. It's ductless.
I already have in the floor heating. I just want A/C and a heating back up in case my boiler has issues when I'm away in the winter.

No way is your living room ever going to see that air. No matter how many fans. If that is a concern you may want two units.

I don't know about that.
It is 7' W x 8' H at the peak. It's a substantial area.

Next thought. The room AC goes in living room. Add a tower fan at the corner, set no oscillate, for air down the hall.

That's just it. And you have to move the air around a corner, out of a big room (the kitchen) into that room. I don't see that happening. I do see that blind hallway getting really cold though.
