HOW in hell can any system distribute cool air through the house in some sort of organized/meaningful manner and be 'ductless'??? sounds like BS to me....might as well be a large RAC up high in the hallway...other than noise WTF is the difference??? some fan blowing dumping air in the hallway, but not into the hottest room in the house makes NO sense what so ever....not only the coffee maker, but the fridge, even the MWave, much less the stove/even a 2 burner/no oven.... gotta dump the a/c into the kitchen on a decent shot, not golfing the air down the fairway/bouncing off the walls with no other circulation system diving some boost to the distribution....and if you have THAT, just stick a A coil in the blower, drain pan and hell over with it.....

I've just recently been working with a buddy that remods houses and likes minis. I have done 2 mobile homes with them and it's working out great.

I am no professional but I think you should consider 2 units. In the last 6 months between he and I we have put in 6 of the Gree 12000 that only require 120V, you still need disconnects but they are a breeze to install. They are very quite and efficient.

The bedroom on the bathroom side is never used so that door would be closed most of the time.
The vestibule only opens up to the LR.
Basically, during the day, the bathroom and bedroom doors would be closed, therefore pushing the air towards the kitchen.
The hallway is skinnier and not to scale, moving that living room wall over so that the LR & kitchen are mirror images.
The LR, as you said is the issue.

Do yourself a favor, find a HVAC guy to lend some advice, other than general suggestions, based on not enough information.....kinda tough to say much more.....

intelligently, that is.....but yes, you have an airflow problem, beeleeme...you do....don't ask how I know this...lets jest say bitter experiences......
