One of my grandfathers was in New Guinea during the war. He died when I was 8 years old, so I never heard any stories. I do know that he ended up laid up with trenchfoot somewhere.

Our control of the Western Pacific is errroding,because ,of biden and
a weak Navy . Chinas Navy fleet is superior to ours. The gallent sacrifices, of the men and women of WW2 should not be forgotten. If only the young people today, were as good, as those yesterday. The young today have too much time on their i-phones and not enough experiencing life. I wish more Americans knew US History. We would not keep making the same mistakes. |
