Should the Vette Barn Forum change it's name?. Lets face it ,almost all
the traffic here is on OFF Topic. Not even Political Topic? I sense ,those that respond to OFF Topic ,had a Corvette, wish they had a vette or never want
to have a Corvette. Thats ok.
What I see is non Corvette info . Change the name and more would join the Forum. Most think that VBF is about Corvettes. Which it is not.

No name change needed. The name is what brought me here. I am a current Corvette owner as well. Additionally, who wants to talk to non-car-forum guys? 'Vette people, and car people, are generally cool and are not metrosexuals.

It's not broken. Don't fix it.

While I am between Vettes at the moment, I have owned 19 Corvettes in the past. I plan on owning a few more in the future. Besides, who wants a bunch of non-car loving folks signing up here?

Slowly getting this build completed.
Forged stroker 408 tt e85 etc on coilovers.
Almost done. Should be a decently-quick, stoplight sleeper and Plaid stomper that actually corners well.
Haven't quite decided on boost controller.
Ater installing fresh built 6l80e/yank converter, now contemplating upgrading half-shafts/driveshaft. It never ends
Fired-up last week (with prev calibration/injectors) for the first time to check for leaks.
Install injectors and calibration/dyno next.

Here's mine. 389 CID built off of a '67 327 block. 400 GM crank, '65 461 big valve heads, Crane cam, stock intake and carbs. (which choke it but look cool) Lots of fun in my deathtrap '61 with drum brakes, manual everything, and bias ply tires! The pic with no air cleaner is prior to me pulling it for an overhaul.
