I would not recommend that unless you want your house vandalized. And why in 6 months?

That's why I won't put one up, that and the fact that I've already gone a round with the HOA about flags. Texas law prevents HOA's from preventing the US flag, Texas state flag, and US military flags from being flown. Once I explained to the HOA that the Gadsden flag, and the Appeal to Heaven flags were both flags used by our armed forces, they immediately backed off.

I do have a Come and Take it flag that I haven't yet flown, because I don't think any but the broadest interpretations of the Texas law would protect that. I do plan on flying it during a holiday here and there, since holiday displays, within appropriate time limits around said holidays, aren't prohibited.

"Why yes, I am celebrating Thanksgiving.....that's what the Come and Take it flag is for! You celebrate your way, I'll celebrate my way."

Explain to them that you identify it as an American Flag and to dispute that with you would be to deny your personal definition of an American Flag. You are icon-fluid. Your pronouns are Patriot and Patriotic.

Easy. Just start talking about facts. Things like it was the Democrats that opposed the abolishment of slavery. It was the Democrats who fought to deny freed slaves from having citizenry. It was the Democrats that fought, nearly all the way through the 20th century, to deny black people civil rights, including the right to vote. I was thinking of the statue more as bait. When they come into the yard to attack it they'ed be trespassing and easier to trap and release elsewhere.

It'll be about 6 months until a horde of new houses are finished acrossed the street here we've always had a wooded area.....trying to figure out how to be the worst, most annoying "neighbor" ever.

My two boys still live at home because I let them. 22 and 19. I like having free labor and they are great kids (young men). Both conservative and both have good jobs and help out around the house all the time.
