I was on that path for quite some time during my younger years, screwed up a good bit of my life because of that. Straightened out and have been flying right since.

It seems that they could build that design with an empty area between the cross braces that would still allow you access exhaust/ torque tube etc. I'd prefer a 2 post but my garage ceilings are about 9' 6" and I'd question the cement thickness also. Scissor style may be the best I can get without building a new garage.

Knuckle busting was over years ago, for me, perfect for being just a waxer now. A little tough for mid midsection change outs, I do oil changes and brake pads, that's about it. Only goes up about 54".
