bilmem damn cheap crap-- my George Foreman grill died

For Christmas 1995, I purchased a jumbo size George Foreman grill for Mary and I. Spent $100 on it. Mary thought I was nuts spending that much for an electric grill.

We have used it at least one a week, usually a couple times a week for the last almost 23 years. Tonight we "attempted" to cook steak but it only worked on one side.

Finished the steak in a frying pan with butter.

Time for a new one.

George Foreman grills came out in 1994

For Christmas our daughter gave us a Hamilton Beach Panini maker. We really like it and used it a lot. It worked for about six months.

I've had my Foreman probably twenty years. Dropped it off the counter once and busted the lid.
Still works.

I don't know if mine works or not. It was given to me.

Never used it.

Never had one. We do saute meat quite a lot. Would that be better.

We have 2 George Foreman grilling machines that we have had 10 years. Both work fine.

We're quite happy with how it cooks. I haven't had a dried out pork chop in over 20 years
