Default IR a certified UAS (drone) pilot now
Passed the test. It’s not easy. The hardest part is learning how to read an aviation map and learning how to read a TAC/METAR report. Why do it ? For any kind of commercial application, it’s required. You accept anything for a photo or video, it’s commercial.

So, from now on, refer to me a Captain Vatorman. 👨*✈️

Here is the best website for help. I was lucky enough that my work had a 5 day course that helped tremendously. If you know how to read aviation maps and METAR reports, that’s 60% of the test.

After you pass the test, they’ll give you a link that you register with the FAA to get your physical card.

my BIL is a retired FO (TWA and AA), he could probably ace that exam without even studying.
