I have to believe that this was not done for profit I have to agree with LARS. I don't believe that their customers give one ioda if they sell a confederate flag in some obscure corner in their store. Their black customers will shop there no matter what why because they have cheap prices. Most of there stuff is Chinese imported made crap from the people who hate us if we were true Americans the Chinese would go broke selling their stuff here because we would not buy it no matter how cheap it is. Don't get me wrong I go there for the same reason cheap prices. They sell Malcolm X hats and this guy was a white hating racist. They sell white cop killing rap records, I still would shop there why because prices are cheap. I think if they would have been asked why they sell Confederate flags and the CEO had balls they would state that we have a customer base in certain stores and we will continue to sell them there until they don't sell and make us a profit. Guns and rifles also I would have stated until they make guns illegal we will continue to sell them in stores that make us a profit selling them. If the walmarts in Detroit want to sell Muslim rag head sheets and it makes them a profit good for them. This is a spur of the moment PC correctness idea from some suit upstairs nothing else.

You guys see the autotrader dukes of hazard commercial? The did everything they could not to show the roof of the car. It's shot from low angles. I honestly don't think the flag is even on the roof of the car. It's just the 01 on the side. Then when they trade the RT in for the viper, that car doesn't even have the flag on the roof. Just the 01 on the side.

These companies make all kinds of decisions that promote an overtly obvious liberal agenda. Things like pulling books of a conservative nature while leaving liberal ones. Big-time donations to liberal politicians and liberal outfits while ignoring conservative ones. Etc. etc. etc.

What would it profit a store like Wal mart to make a political stand ? The same people would shop there-they would just receive LOADS of bad publicity. In this area, bad publicity is not better than no publicity at all.

How about this.

A product promoting a liberal agenda gets different shelf placement, or gets its pricing marked down with a big yellow smiley face.

"Wow look how this is outselling that conservative product that we marked up an extra 10% and stuck on the bottom left corner. I guess people don't want that conservative stuff so fiscally, we have an obligation to dump it".

See this provides the "appearance of balance" initially and the justification to make the adjustment to the left.

So easy a cave man could do it.
