In case you're worried about drinking alone...don't be....just saying...

BTW...don't forget, at least for the stout, to leave a little in the bottom of the bottle and swirl it around to get that creamy goodness off the bottom, before finishing the pour.

Gives you a nice head as well, which is always a plus!

Just opened the Dragon's Milk from New Holland Brewing. Outstanding is my first impression. The flavors of this are still unwinding in my brain.

If you beer lovers can get ahold of this. Do it. It is well worth the cost.

That chocolate stout is good stuff, though. Had some a few weeks back. Picked up a holiday case at Costco and it came with. Tasty.

This^

I just brewed up a batch of stout this evening.
Gonna be my "Black Juju Stout."
Around 8.5%.
Decent fuk up fuel.

This might be the best beer I ever tasted. I think it sells for $50 a bottle though.

I recently made an oatmeal stout ala Samuel Adams Oatmeal stout. Here is the label. Have not tried it yet.

Just trying out the Bourbon Barrel Quad now. Pretty darn good stuff. Not Bourbon county good. But not far off either.

Warning for those opening this. That cork is not going back in. So plan on drinking all of it one sitting. That however in this house is never a problem.

I've noticed a lot of these barrel aged beers are in fancy bottles with huge corks.
I do finish a bottle once opened, but I put in one of those vacuum wine savers for temporary storage in the fridge.

Pro tip, pulling vacuum on leftover beer, probably not the best idea.

For leftover beer (or wine even) the bottled nitrogen works well. Has a small tube to spray the gas out into the bottle, then just cork it. At least it won't oxidize that way. You can do this to opened wine and keep it for at least a week, but I never really have that problem.

Well, it works for me and never makes it overnight.
Truth-be-told, it's spill insurance for my clumsy GF.

When it comes to beer this good the GF can't have any unless there is butt sex involved. So far she has not had any of each.

I should be able to get the Certified Evil & Boulevard Bourbon bottles and ship if anyone was interested.
What is the best way to ship?
