Had to when I saw your post. I live on a large lake and we have a lot of 7&5 people. (Retired & live up here 7 months, down south somewhere 5 months) SO FAR this year we have had less snow and nasty cold than they have had down south. We also have the equipment and know how to handle it. So far this season have got no picture with them on a beach saying "HAHA". A couple even had to buy some serious warm weather gear as it got so bad and all their heavy clothes were up here!

My cousin retired a few years ago and moved to Alabama and the weather this year has been interesting to say the least. My best friend totally disgusted about the NYS politics, taxes and other stuff retired & move to Tennessee. He has been snowed in at least 3 times and just got nailed again.

...you kidding me? I've seen them folks pull over to the side of the road in a rain storm!......snow freaks them right out!

We're workin' on 2-4" today locally. Schools closed, but most business are open. The lack of school busses and children boarding/departing makes the morning/evening commute easier and safer, IMO.
