During my school days, anyone wearing green on Thursdays was considered "queer." Any day really, but especially on Thursdays. Boys, who generally don't give a crap what color clothes we have on, had to double-check them on Thursday mornings when dressing.

This carried on to ANYTHING you had that was green including cars. Not sure how that all got started, but by the time I had my Harley painted green (late '90s) it was all forgotten about.

But I think it was just a local thing cuz I mentioned it here before, and I don't think anyone else knew about it. But this was in the early to mid 1960s, so it probably died out before younger guys heard about it.

We had something like that when I left catholic school and entered public school. This was the the late 50s early 60s and it was a Friday. To be honest I remember the day but not the color ,but doubt it was green. You got caught bad dressed you could expect a good hit to your shoulder by every boy in your home room. Rules were you had to take it.

I like the dark greens, burgundies, and blues the best.
Used to hate white, now, on my pickup, I like it.

I've had: black, white, turquoise, red, maroon, orange, dark green, tan, brown, copper blaze, gold, silver, dark blue, blue charcoal, light blue, and plum.

As a non-mathematical but artistic guy, color is one of the most important things to me in a vehicle.

My daily drivers are typically silver and my Corvettes are all either black with red or red with black with the exception of a Corvette racing yellow C7.

Wife's cars are almost always white.

When we lived in Okinawa, we had a baby-shit brown Toyota van with 3 on the tree.

Probably had more red cars than any other color
A few blue ones
Black
White
Pewter
Copper
Silver
Yellow
A couple green ones. A '14 PE Vert that looked black unless in direct sunlight. And a Honda Oddesy that was green in the daytime but turned purple under street lamps.

The only color I had haven't had was orange. I always wanted a DSOM Vette. C6 or C7 or better yet both.

I had a hugger orange '66 GTO with a blacked out tail panel and slot mags. 4 speed, black interior, tripower engine. Looked like the Dukes of Hazard Charger but meaner. And this was at the same time....1979-80.

I’ve had 35 vehicles so far, so have hit most of the common/popular colors. Probably the least-common colors I’ve owned were purple (‘97 Plymouth Voyager), orange (‘03 Bronco Sport), and copper (‘99 Grand Prix). Colors I’ve never owned include yellow, pink or geriatric gold mist.

Every color in the rainbow and more.
I have owned about 150 muscle, sports, antique and special interest cars in my lifetime. And some from the Mopar Hi Impact color bunch like Plum Crazy.
